Opening Times and Fees
Funded and Unfunded Sessions
We cater for children aged 2, 3 and 4 year olds, offering up to 24 hours (from the 30 hour free entitlement) of funded sessions per week to 3 and 4 year olds. Children become eligible for funding the term after their 3rd birthday. Eligible 2 year olds can also avail of 15 hours’ childcare from the term after their second birthday. Please use the Online Eligibility Checker (OEC) to establish if you qualify. If you do, the system will give you a reference number that we will need. If you don’t, you can pay privately for your child’s care provision until they reach the qualifying age.

Providing Additional Support to Working Parents
Some of our children need additional hours, particularly before and after our session times to enable their parents to fulfil working obligations. We work closely with Spice Childcare to organise wrap-around care. Parents can request that Spice staff walk children to our pre-school before the session and/or a member of Piglets staff walk the children to Spice after sessions.
We aim to offer the best for all children and making childcare and education easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy for working parents!
